During the hearing, the Chief Secretary, Finance Secretary, Transport Secretary, Director General Transport, Advocate General and Chief Permanent Advocate appeared through video conferencing today. After the hearing, the division bench has directed the state government to give the Rs 34 crore approved by the Chief Minister to the corporation by today or tomorrow. Along with this, the court said on the future salary of the employees, that a complete proposal should be made and kept in the upcoming cabinet meeting, so that this problem does not come again and again.

The division bench has also said in its order that the government does not have the right to withhold the salary of the employees. This is a clear violation of the Human Rights Commission including Articles 14, 19, 21 and 300A of the Constitution. The court has also said in its order that in the past, the court had directed the Transport Ministry of the Central Government to take a meeting with the Chief Secretaries of both the states for the distribution of assets of the two states. But, so far nothing has happened on it. The court said that within three months, the Chief Secretaries of both the states should meet and take a decision in this matter. Uttarakhand is about to be formed for 21 years, yet the partition has not happened, while at present the government of the same party is in the center and both the states. The court has fixed August 4 for the next hearing of the case. The matter was heard in the division bench of Chief Justice RS Chauhan and Justice Alok Kumar Verma.

On which the court reprimanded the government and said that the government has no right to cut the salary of the employees. This is a violation of fundamental rights under Article 14, 19, 21, 300A of the Constitution.

According to the case, Uttarakhand Roadways Employees Union has filed a public interest litigation in the High Court saying that the government is going to impose ESMA against them, which is against the rules. The government has been forcing the employees to go on strike. Neither the contract employees are being regularized by the government and the Transport Corporation nor are they being given regular salary, they are not even being given overtime for the last four years. The dues of retired employees have not been paid. The union has reached an agreement with the government and the corporation on several demands, even after that the government is ready to impose ESMA.
Salary not given
It has been said in the petition that the corporation has to pay Rs 45 crore dues on behalf of the government. At the same time, the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation has to give 700 hundred crore rupees to the corporation. Neither the state government is giving their Rs 45 crore to the corporation, nor is the state government asking for Rs 700 crore from Uttar Pradesh, due to which the corporation is neither able to buy new buses nor work for the facilities of the passengers in the bus. being done. Salary has not been given since February.
