The crisis of livelihood

Due to Corona, tourism activities have been completely closed for the last one and a half years, due to which the crisis of livelihood has arisen in front of all the people associated with tourism business. Most of the people are requesting the government to open the tourism business so that they can overcome the economic crisis.
The government will have an additional charge of about 25 crores
Tourism activities have not been opened due to Corona, but the government has tried to give relief to the people associated with the tourism industry. In the cabinet meeting held yesterday, it has been decided that about fifty thousand people associated with tourism business in the state will be given 2.5 thousand rupees per month. This amount will be for 2 months. In this, 5 thousand rupees will go directly to the account. This will put an additional charge of about 25 crores on the government.
Government has tried to give light relief
In the first wave of Corona last year, more than 37 thousand workers were given financial help and this time the government has joined the tourism business. It has been decided to give help to 50 thousand people. Not only this, 10 thousand will be given to the registered 303 adventure tour operators. It has also been decided to waive interest on loans taken under Virchand Garhwali Tourist Yojna and Deendayal Home Stay Scheme. People associated with the tourism industry are also very happy with this. He says that the tourism business has been closed for a long time, in such a situation the government has tried to give light relief, although it is very less.
Opposition does not agree
At the same time, the opposition does not agree with this decision of the government. The opposition says that the people who were given loans under the Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana are still in trouble. Uttarakhand is a tourism state and if there is no tourism activities here, then the business of the people gets ruined. This has been happening for the last one and a half years. People who are associated with this business are facing financial crisis these days. To get out of this crisis, the government has decided to help financially, but it is like cumin in the mouth of a camel.
