Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Yashpal Arya Meeting: In the Uttarakhand government, Excise Minister Yashpal Arya held a meeting with the officials of the Excise Department. Arya described the non-recovery of 93 crores for the last four years as very serious and expressed displeasure. Arya said that action should be taken against the officials who were negligent in the matter of surcharge recovery. Along with this, he has instructed the department to increase the raids for the prevention of illicit liquor as well as to fill up the vacant posts soon.
Fake bank guarantee information surfaced
In the meeting, there was also a discussion regarding the reorganization of the department so that enforcement work can be increased. The Excise Minister has asked for special focus on raids and recovery of illegal liquor. Minister Yashpal Arya said that it has also come to his notice that fake bank guarantees have also been given at many places and the Excise Department has been misled. This is not possible without anyone’s involvement. Strict action will be taken by identifying such people.
Dhan Singh Rawat took feedback
At the same time, Uttarakhand Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat took a meeting of NHM in the assembly. Along with talking on all aspects related to health, Dhan Singh Rawat took feedback from the officials on the condition of health services in the state. The Health Minister said that by December 31, 100% vaccination will be done in Uttarakhand. For this, a demand has been made from the center to give 20 lakh vaccine doses every month. Apart from this, many important decisions were also taken in this meeting of the Health Department.
Vacant posts will be recruited
Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said in the meeting that in 50 days, 1850 posts of nurses, doctors and other staff will be recruited in the health department. Committees will be formed in 7210 gram sabhas. There will be a meeting of village committees every 15 days. More than 10 thousand TB patients have recovered in the state.
