Shahjahanpur: A doctor accused of forcing him to buy medicine at a high price from his relative’s medical store in Shahjahanpur district was arrested by the police from Sitapur district on Tuesday. Superintendent of Police S. Anand said on Tuesday that Anil Raj, a doctor posted at the Government Medical College, was accused that he used to force patients to take medicine from a particular medical store. He said that two reports were lodged in the police station police station on the matter in which police arrested Dr. Raj from Sitapur Roadways bus stop at around 3 am on Tuesday. At that time he was in the process of going to Lakhimpur Kheri by bus.

Police have arrested the owner of the medical store

Public Relations Officer of Government Medical College, Dr. Pooja Tripathi said that Dr. Raj is not coming to the hospital from May 12. After this, the chief medical superintendent of the hospital, Dr. UP Sinha, also posted a notice on his residence and on 29 May the Medical College Administration has also sent a letter to the Director General of Health.
