From July 25, there will be more rain in Uttarakhand and there will be good rain in the entire state. Nainital, Pithoragarh in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri and Kumaon region on 25 and 26 July. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar.
Advice not to travel in hilly areas
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is no relief from rain in Uttarakhand right now. The Meteorological Department says that till July 30, the process of rain will continue in the state. In view of this, there are more possibilities of landslides, water level of rivers and blockade of roadways. Due to incessant rains in Uttarakhand, many roads are closed. Four days of rain in Joshimath has caused huge cracks on many roads. Traffic is affected due to road blockage in 15 villages in Tehri district. More than 40 connectivity roads are blocked in Chamoli district. Due to rain in Kumaon, life is disturbed due to rain in many areas including Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Didihat. Roads are blocked at many places due to debris.
Rain havoc in Uttarkashi
On the other hand, incessant rains have wreaked havoc in Uttarkashi as well. It has been raining here for the last five days. Now even the rivers are flowing in their rough form. Incessant rain is now causing problems for the passers-by as well. Traffic is being affected continuously due to swampy debris falling in Yamunotri National Highway NH94 slip zone Khaneda, Kharadi, Kuthnaur and Dabarkot. Due to the continuous rain, the Gadare is also in spate. Yamuna and Tons rivers are also flowing just one meter below the danger mark.
