Sivan: Two trucks collided head-on on Friday morning near Goharua village on Guthni-Mehrauna main road in the district. In this incident, both of them were blown away. The driver of a truck died in the accident while three people were seriously injured, who are being treated at the Sadar Hospital.
Sand was loaded on one truck and mango was loaded on the other.
According to the information, two trucks were going at high speed on Friday morning. Meanwhile, the drivers of the truck lost their balance with the truck near Goharua village and there was a horrific collision. In this incident, one driver died on the spot while the condition of three remains critical. There was sand on one truck and mango load on the other. After the incident, all the goods loaded on the truck fell on the road.
Truck removed from the road with the help of JCB
Here, the surrounding villagers reached the spot after hearing the sound after the collision in both the trucks. After this, the police of Guthni police station was informed about this. The police reached the spot, with the help of JCB, removed both the vehicles from the side of the road. It is said that the truck laden with mango was coming from UP to Siwan while the truck laden with sand was going from Bihar to UP.
Guthni SHO Rajesh Kumar Singh has sent the body of the driver to Siwan Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. At the same time, the injured have been admitted to the Sadar Hospital for treatment. The deceased has been identified as Sonu Savita, 40-year-old son of Rajkishore, a resident of Srinagar police station area of Kanpur district of UP. At the same time, one injured has also been identified as Ranjan Kushwaha, a resident of Srinagar police station area of Kanpur. At the same time, the second injured has been identified as Shankar Rai, a resident of Avtar Nagar in Chapra district, while the third injured person has not been identified.
