Kalyan Singh Health Update: Kalyan Singh, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and former Governor of Rajasthan, admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow, the capital of UP, is not well and doctors are constantly monitoring him. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel reached SGPGI on Tuesday afternoon to meet ailing Kalyan Singh.
According to the health bulletin issued by SGPGI at 3 pm on Tuesday, the condition of Kalyan Singh remains as unstable as before. Kalyan Singh was put on oxygen support after he complained of breathlessness on Saturday evening. But after increasing the pain, he has been kept on ‘non-invasive ventilation’ since Sunday evening.
Doctors are constantly monitoring the health of the former Chief Minister
According to the statement, senior doctors of the PCM, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology and Endocrinology departments are constantly monitoring the health of the former Chief Minister. SGPGI Director Professor R. K. Dhiman is monitoring Kalyan Singh’s treatment.
According to the SGPGI statement, Governor Patel met Kalyan Singh on Tuesday afternoon and inquired about his well being. The Governor also inquired about his health from the doctors of the institute. Significantly, 89-year-old Kalyan Singh was admitted to SGPGI on July 4 last due to infection and unconsciousness. Earlier, he was being treated at Ram Manohar Lohia Medical Institute. Earlier on Sunday, CM Yogi Adityanath had reached the hospital to take care of Kalyan Singh.
