Angry activists protest Pappu Yadav’s bail plea, warns government


Darbhanga: Jan Adhikar Party (Democratic) national president cum former MP Pappu Yadav, upset over not getting bail, protested amid the lockdown. Hundreds of Jap activists took to the streets in Bihar’s Darbhanga district and burnt effigies of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, shouting anti-government slogans at Karpoori Chowk in the city.

On this occasion, Munna Khan, the former district president of the party, said that the government was scared of the popularity of Pappu Yadav. They are not getting bail due to government intervention. He said that he has full faith in the court. One day they will definitely get justice from the court.

Government is plotting against Pappu Yadav

At the same time, student leader Priya Raj said that the party workers have not been disappointed due to Pappu Yadav not getting bail. Rather, they have become even stronger. With the bail being rejected, it has become clear that the double engine government of Bihar is interfering somewhere.

He said that what is the situation in Bihar, it is not hidden from anyone. But no one is ready to say anything. In such a situation, if the Bihar government does not stop interfering in the bail of Pappu Yadav, then there will be a fierce agitation in Bihar.

Significantly, on May 11, the police of Buddha Colony police station of Patna arrested Pappu Yadav from his Buddha Colony residence. He was arrested in the case of lockdown violation. However, in the evening of the same day, a team of Bihar Police reached Patna from Madhepura district and arrested them in a 32-year-old case and took them to Madhepura. After a virtual appearance in the court, he was sent to Veerpur Jail in Supaul.

However, Pappu Yadav has been sent to DMCH for treatment after his health deteriorated in Virpur Jail. He is currently treating DMCH. In between, there was a discussion going on to bring him to Patna. But Pappu Yadav himself refused to come to Patna.
