Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian cricket team, has had to clarify after the criticism on social media. Now Kohli has tweeted that he has never claimed that he is Vegan. Actually, during a question-and-answer session with fans on Instagram, a user asked Kohli to share his diet details. To this the Indian captain replied that “Lots of vegetables, some eggs, 2 cups of coffee, quinoa, lots of spinach, I also like to eat dosa. But all in a controlled quantity”.
The presence of eggs in their diet surprised many people. After which various types of questions started being asked on social media and he came under the target of the users on Twitter. In an interview, Kohli had mentioned about the positive effect of vegetarian diet on his body and told that he has given up non-veg and now takes vegan diet.
