Suvendu Adhikari approached the Calcutta High Court, filed a petition and said- CBI investigation should be done in the matter


Kolkata: In West Bengal, the political tussle between the party and the opposition has intensified. Leader of Opposition in the state Suvendu Adhikari has filed a writ petition in the Calcutta High Court seeking a CBI inquiry into the cases filed against him by the state government. In the petition filed, he has also sought quashing of all FIRs registered against him by the state police and Kolkata Police.

Suvendu Adhikari has alleged through the petition that after coming to power, the Trinamool Congress government of the state has started many false civil and criminal cases against him.

“As soon as he changed his allegiance to Trinamool Congress and joined BJP and also won Nandigram assembly seat defeating Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the ruling party for political vendetta and rivalry, in filing false cases against him,” he said. Started harassing them in a calculative way.

Let us inform that the Leader of Opposition Shuvendu Adhikari has accused the Mamta government of phone tapping. Shuvendu Adhikari said that there has been continuous violence in the state since the assembly elections. The truth is that the West Bengal government is getting his phone recorded. Shuvendu Adhikari has also alleged that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is getting the phones of BJP workers also tapped.

Regarding phone tapping, West Bengal BJP state president Dilip Ghosh said that TMC leaders do not do any conversation except messaging on WhatsApp as they know that Mamata Banerjee herself taps her phone.
