He reached the Golden Temple along with the MLAs of Punjab Congress. There he bowed his head. Sidhu was accompanied by party MLAs on Wednesday in ‘luxury’ buses to visit the Golden Temple, where a large number of Congress supporters were also present. The media advisor to the Punjab Chief Minister had on Tuesday rubbished reports that Sidhu had sought an appointment with him. The media advisor had said that the Chief Minister would not meet him until Sidhu publicly apologized for the derogatory remarks made against him on social media. Jalalpur said on this, “Why should he apologize. It is true that he should respect him and he also respects the Chief Minister, but why should he apologize.
