Mumbai: Navy Western Command has made a big announcement to deal with the drone conspiracy. Now if any drone is seen flying within a range of three km, it will be destroyed immediately. Along with drones, private helicopter flying has also been banned. Along with this, many legal action will also be taken on flying drones. This announcement has been made by Western Command. DGCA’s permission is necessary before flying a drone or private ship. The permission letter of DGCA will have to be given to WNC one week.
The head quarter of Navy Western Command is located in Mumbai. The Western Command has given clear instructions that if any drone is found within a radius of three km of the headquarters, then the Navy will destroy it. Sources are telling that some suspicious activity has been indicated on the basis of which this decision has been taken. Let us tell you that the Mumbai Police has already banned drones. Flying a drone in the skies of Mumbai is legal but a crime. Action is taken for violating the rule.
The Navy said, “At least a week before the schedule of flight operations, its approval has to be obtained from the website of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and a copy of the sanction letter should be handed over to the Western Naval Command here. Flying drones inside the area is prohibited for whatever reason. Most of these restrictions are already in place, but these strict rules are being repeated after the drone attack on an Air Force technical airport in Jammu on June 27.”
