Police have registered a case against her after a video of a woman brutally beating her 7-month-old child on social media went viral. Inspector Narendra Hivade of Ambajhari police station said that the incident took place on 24 May in Pandharbodi area of ​​Nagpur district in Maharashtra.

The police registered a case against the woman on Monday under related sections. This video was made by a relative of the accused woman, in which she is seen beating her child during an argument with her mother-in-law.

After the video went viral on social media, the local people informed the Ambazari police about the incident. The child’s father works as a drummer, but he is still unemployed due to restrictions related to Kovid-19.

Hivde told that the child’s grandmother works as a domestic help and earns two thousand rupees a month. The officer said that a neighbor told the police that there was often a fight between the child’s mother and grandmother about the money.
