Three awards in each revenue division
This competition is being organized to make the people of the villages aware about preventing the spread of corona infection. State Rural Development Minister Hassan Mushrif told that whichever village will manage it better to deal with Kovid-19, it will be given an award to the village panchayat. He said that separate awards would be given for each revenue division. The Rural Development Minister said that the Panchayat that does the best will get the first prize of Rs 50 lakh, while the second number villages will get Rs 25 lakh. The number three villages will also not be disappointed and will be given a prize of 15 lakhs.
So far 22 crore people have been vaccinated
According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, now 22.09 crore people have been vaccinated. Of these, 99.12 lakh health workers have received at least one dose while 68.15 lakh health workers have been given both doses of the vaccine. Similarly, 1.59 crore frontline workers have been given the first dose of vaccine and 85.77 lakh frontline workers have been given both doses.
