According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 1 lakh 34 thousand 154 new corona cases came and 2887 infected people have lost their lives. At the same time, 2 lakh 11 thousand 499 people have also been cured from Corona. That is, 80,232 active cases were reduced on the last day. Earlier on Tuesday, 1 lakh 32 thousand 788 lakh new corona cases were registered and 3207 infected people died.
Today, for the 21st consecutive day in the country, there have been more recoveries than new cases of corona virus. Till June 2, 22 crore 10 lakh 43 thousand 693 doses of corona vaccine have been given across the country. Last day 24 lakh 26 thousand vaccines were administered. At the same time, more than 35 crore 37 corona tests have been done so far. 21.59 lakh corona sample tests were done on the last day, whose positivity rate is more than 6 percent.

15,169 new cases came in Maharashtra, 1333 infected in Gujarat
On Wednesday, 15,169 new cases of Kovid were reported in Maharashtra, taking the total number of infected people in the state to 57,76,184. During this period, 285 people died while 268 earlier deaths were also confirmed to be from Kovid. With this, so far 96,751 people have lost their lives in this epidemic in Maharashtra.
