Congress committee took opinion from many MPs and former state presidents
The committee constituted with the aim of removing the ongoing discord in the Punjab unit of Congress met several MPs and former state presidents of the state on Wednesday and took their opinion. In the last three days, about 80 Congress leaders of the state have appeared before this committee and have expressed their views. Most of them are MLAs.
Sources said that some leaders who met the committee on Wednesday raised issues related to the government, while some leaders raised the demand to fix the organization before the 2022 assembly elections. On Monday and Tuesday, about 50 ministers, MPs, MLAs made their point before a three-member committee headed by Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge.
