New Delhi: The central government has amended the pension rules of civil servants. In this, retired officers of the Security and Intelligence Organization have been banned from publishing anything related to their organization without the approval of the head of the organization. It also includes information related to their experience and expertise in the organization.br />This rule will be applicable to the organizations falling in the second schedule of the RTI Act
Amending the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972, the DoPT added a clause, which said It has been observed that on retirement, those working in organizations mentioned in the second schedule of the RTI Act without prior approval from the head of the organization "shall not be permitted to publish anything relating to the domain of the organization, including references or information about any personnel and his designation and the expertise or knowledge gained by virtue of working in that organization" Includes.
The approval of the Organization Head must be obtained before publishing
such person has been specified that "Sensitive" Information will not be allowed to be published and the Head of the Organization concerned will decide whether the publication is case sensitive or falls within the Organization’s domain.
These Organizations Include In the list are
Intelligence Bureau, Research and Analysis Wing, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Central Economic Intelligence Bureau, Enforcement Directorate, Narcotics Control Bureau, Aviation Research Center, Special Frontier Force, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force, National Security Guard, Assam Rifles, Sashastra Seema Bal, Special Branch (CID), Andaman and Nicobar, Crime Branch-CID-CB, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Special Branch , Lakshadweep Police, Special Protection Group, Defense Research and Development Organisation, Border Road Development Board and Financial Intelligence Unit. CBI was added to this list by the Manmohan Singh government by amending the RTI Act.
