Narrated Negi had decided to prepare for UPSC during engineering, from where he got a campus placement on a good salary. After working for about 2 years, he moved to Delhi for preparation. In the year 2016, he had given the UPSC exam for the first time, in which he got stuck in the mains exam.

Rank was not good in second attempt

After failing in the first attempt, he rectified his mistakes and made a second attempt. This time he passed the UPSC exam, but the rank came 504. Due to this he did not get the IAS service. His dream was to become an IAS, so he made another attempt. This time his strategy worked and he made it to the list of toppers in the UPSC exam.
