Advice in the report – there is no need for vaccine for people who have been infected with corona

New Delhi: A group of public health experts has said that widespread, indiscriminate and incomplete vaccination could lead to the emergence of mutated forms of the coronavirus. He has suggested that there is no need to vaccinate those who have been affected by the corona virus infection. Doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in this group also include members of the National Task Force on COVID-19.

People in vulnerable and risk category should be vaccinated first

The group has said in its recent report that instead of mass vaccination of people, only those who are vulnerable and included in the risk category should be vaccinated. Experts from the Indian Public Health Association, the Indian Association of Epidemiologists and the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine have said in their report, “The current epidemic situation in the country demands that vaccination should be opened up to all age groups at this stage.” Instead, we should be guided by the epidemiological data.” The report has been submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Unplanned vaccination may lead to mutated forms of virus

It underscores that vaccination of young adults and children is not evidence-supported and will not be economical. The report states that unplanned vaccination can lead to mutated forms of the virus. It states that there is no need to vaccinate those who have been exposed to corona virus infection.
